Once more, fog causes many freeway segments to be closed.

Between Thursday and Friday, the plain regions of Punjab and Sindh were engulfed in dense fog, which hindered daily activities and interfered with traffic owing to poor visibility, according to Dunya News.
The spokesperson for the Motorway Police stated that heavy vehicle entry on Motorway M3 has been forbidden, and the Motorway M2 between Lahore and Kot Momin has been restricted to traffic.
Additionally, all traffic on Motorways M4 from Faisalabad to Multan, M5 from Multan to Sukkur, and M11 from Lahore to Sialkot has been prohibited.
Syed Imran Ahmed, a spokesman for the Motorway Police, stated that the closures were required to save people and property in the face of dangerous weather. There have also been reports of fog in a number of cities along the National Highway, where visibility is still quite bad.
Drivers are urged to rigorously adhere to lane discipline because authorities have cautioned that lane breaches during fog might result in serious accidents. It has been recommended that drivers use fog lights, slow down, and keep a safe distance from cars in front of them.
Travelers have been advised to choose daylight travel wherever possible. When visibility is comparatively better, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, the Motorway Police have established safe travel times.
The public was also urged by the police to refrain from needless travel and call the Motorway helpline 130 for direction or support during disruptions caused by fog.
According to Motorway Police, monitoring teams are stationed on important roads to maintain safety and control traffic flow when the weather changes.
