Over the Eid holidays, Pakistan Railways makes a record Rs 480 million.

A notable increase in travel activity around the nation is reflected in Pakistan Railways’ record-breaking income of Rs 480 million from passenger trains over the three days of Eid.
The department made Rs 110 million on the first day of Eid, Rs 170 million on the second, and more than Rs 200 million on the third, according to official figures.
Nonetheless, during the previous week, passenger trains brought in more than Rs 1 billion for Pakistan Railways.
Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, Minister of Railways, credited enhanced operational tactics and successful policies for the record profits. He praised the railway administration for reaching this milestone and described it as a sign of institutional advancement.
The minister also underlined the necessity of improving passenger facilities, saying that offering improved services is still of utmost importance. “We are actively working on both fronts because improved amenities and a robust railway track infrastructure are the fundamental rights of passengers,” he stated.
Abbasi highlighted plans for future growth by announcing that the railway track from Karachi to Rohri would be completely upgraded within the next three years in order to provide passengers with safer and more effective travel.
