Pakistan, along with eight other Muslim countries, has agreed to join the Board of Peace, which we created.

Ministers of Foreign Affairs from eight Muslim countries, including Pakistan, welcomed President Donald Trump’s offer to their leaders to join the Board of Peace, which has been unveiled as part of the effort.

“The ministers of Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar announced their countries’ shared decision to join the Board of Peace,” according to a joint statement released by the Foreign Office spokeswoman.

According to the statement, each country, including Egypt, Pakistan, and the UAE, would sign the joining agreements in accordance with its own applicable legal and other procedures.

The ministers reiterate their countries’ support for the peace efforts led by President Trump, and reaffirm their countries’ commitment to supporting the implementation of the mission of the Board of Peace as a transitional administration, as set out in the Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict and endorsed by United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803, aimed at consolidating a permanent ceasefire, supporting Gaza reconstruction, and advancing a just

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar announced in a post on ‘X’ that a group of eight Arab-Islamic countries has decided to join the Board of Peace. Pakistan has been and will continue to cooperate with our Arab-Islamic neighbors to achieve long-term peace in Gaza and to protect our Palestinian brothers and sisters’ right to self-determination.”
