Pakistan and Algeria renew their long-standing friendship and economic partnership.

In honor of the 71st anniversary of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria’s National Day, which commemorates the historic Glorious Revolution of November 1, 1954, the Algerian Embassy in Pakistan held a lavish event here on Friday.

Along with ambassadors, senior officials, diplomats, lawmakers, and businesspeople, the event was graced by the Chief Guest, Haroon Akhtar Khan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production. To commemorate the event, a ceremonial cake was sliced.

Haroon Akhtar Khan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production, spoke at the event and described Pakistan as a transparent, trustworthy, and lucrative place for international investment. According to him, the government is dedicated to building a robust industrial and regulatory framework that promotes expansion, protects alliances, and enables investors to actively participate in the nation’s economic development.

He was confident that Pakistan and Algeria could advance in industry, innovation, and wealth together if they worked together. He congratulated the Algerian government and people on their National Day, wished the North African country ongoing progress, and reiterated Pakistan’s intention to deepen its partnership with Algeria.

“May the ties between Algeria and Pakistan become even more solid, driven by a shared vision for a better future and shared values,” he added.

The reception ended in a joyous fashion, honoring Algeria and Pakistan’s common ideals of friendship, respect, and cooperation.
