Pakistan announces to join the Board of Peace under UNSC Resolution 2803: Dar

On Wednesday, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar announced Pakistan’s decision to join the Board of Peace in accordance with UNSC Resolution 2803.

In a tweet released on the social media network ‘X’, formerly known as Twitter, Ishaq Dar stated that “Pakistan announces its decision to join the Board of Peace (BoP) in support of the Gaza Peace Plan under UNSC Resolution 2803”.

According to Ishaq Dar, this decision reaffirms Pakistan’s commitment to a permanent cease-fire, humanitarian assistance, Gaza reconstruction, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within a just and time-bound framework, with Jerusalem as its capital.
