Pakistan is expected to get more rain and snowfall starting today.

Beginning today, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted increased precipitation and snowfall in several regions of the nation.

The Met Office predicts rain and snowfall in Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. While some parts of Punjab may see gloomy weather with sporadic rain, Islamabad, Murree, and the Galiyat region are also likely to get rain and snowfall.

Rainfall is anticipated in Haripur, Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, and Kohat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Meanwhile, there is a greater chance of travel disruptions due to road blocks caused by heavy snowfall in upper regions like Naran, Kaghan, Kalam, and Chitral.

The PMD added that rainfall is expected in several areas of Balochistan, including Qalat, Mastung, Zhob, Noshki, and Kharan. On Monday and Tuesday, snowfall is also anticipated in Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, and Qila Abdullah.

Because of the potential for slick roads and poor visibility, authorities have cautioned commuters and tourists to use caution, especially in steep areas. The appropriate departments have been informed to stay ready for any emergencies brought on by bad weather.
