Pakistan is expected to have more rain and snow starting on Sunday.

On Sunday, January 25, a westerly wave is predicted to move into the country’s western regions, and on January 26, it is expected to engulf the country’s upper regions.

Rain, wind, and thunder are predicted to accompany snowfall in Balochistan (Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Qilla Abdullah, Qilla Saifullah, Noushki, Harnai, Zhob, Kalat, Barkhan, Sibbi, Loralai, Turbat, Gawadar, Jiwani, Kech, Awaran, Chaghi, Panjgur, Khuzdar, Washuk, and Kharan) and Upper Sindh (Sukkar, Larkana, Jacobabad, and Dadu) on January 25 and 26.

The Met Office said rain-wind/thunderstorm with snowfall ( few heavy snowfall) is also expected in Gilgit-Baltistan (Diamir, Astore, Ghizer, Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Ganche, Shigar), Kashmir (Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Poonch, Hattian, Bagh, Rawalakot, Haveli), Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kalam, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Buner, Peshawar, Nowshera, Swabi, Malakand, Mardan, Kohat, Kurram, Khyber, Hangu, Bajur, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Waziristan, Murree, Galliyat, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Attock, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Gujrat Sargodha, Mianwali, Gujranwala, Multan, Layyah, Bhakkar, Dera Ghazi Khan on 26th and 27th January with occasional gaps.

Balochistan (Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Qilla Abdullah, Qilla Saifullah, Noushki, Harnai, Zhob, Kalat, Barkhan, Sibi, Loralai, Musakhel, Turbat, Gawadar, Jiwani, Lasbella, Kech, Awaran, Chaghi, Panjgur, Khuzdar, Washuk, and Kharan) and Sindh (Karachi, Hyderabad, Dadu, Jacobabad, Naushero Feroz, Kashmore, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirbad, Mirpurkhas, Ghotki).

Quetta, Ziarat, Chaman, Pishin, Qilla Abdullah, Qilla Saifullah, Noushki, Harnai, and Zhob experienced moderate to heavy snowfall during that time.
