Pakistan raises the possibility of taking action against TTP militants in Afghanistan.

Asim Iftikhar Ahmed, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, has hinted at potential action against terrorists affiliated with the Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Afghanistan.
There are about 6,000 TTP fighters in Afghanistan, according to Asim Iftikhar. Pakistan will take steps for its own security if the Taliban do not act against the TTP, he said.
He stated that terrorism originating in Afghanistan is a major concern to Pakistan and that the country has once again turned into a haven for terrorist organizations and their proxies. He stated there is strong proof that terrorist organizations in Afghanistan are working together.
Pakistan has successfully thwarted multiple terrorist infiltration efforts, according to Asim Iftikhar. Both our courageous military and civilians have made enormous sacrifices, he remarked. The TTP’s existence on Afghan territory has also been verified by a UN report.
Asim Iftikhar went on to say that the entire area is being impacted by the terrible circumstances in Afghanistan. He stated that Afghan refugees should go back to their native country as the war is concluded.
