Pakistan-Russia business forum annulled due to regional concerns

The Pakistan-Russia Business Forum, planned for March 4 in conjunction with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s imminent visit to Russia, has been annulled due to regional tensions and uncertainty.

A formal decision has been reached to cancel the business forum, and the pertinent delegations have been notified accordingly.

The forum, planned for Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit, with over 100 Pakistani companies anticipated to engage with Russian enterprises, was ultimately canceled owing to prevailing security and air conditions.

No formal announcement has been made regarding the cancellation of the Prime Minister’s travel to Russia; but, the cancellation of the business forum is regarded as a significant development in light of the current circumstances.
