Pakistan secures direct qualification for the T20 World Cup 2028 following a decisive victory against Namibia.

Pakistan gained direct qualification for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028 by advancing to the Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup 2026.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) states that the eight teams advancing to the Super 8 phase of the 2026 edition have secured automatic qualification for the 2028 event.
The 2028 T20 World Cup will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand, including 20 nations.
As co-hosts, Australia obtained automatic qualification.
Teams that have confirmed their participation include India, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and the West Indies.

Furthermore, the three top-ranked teams in the ICC T20I standings as of March 9 will receive direct qualifying.
Nonetheless, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Ireland are not included among the automatic qualifiers at this juncture.
The final eight positions in the 20-team competition will be determined by regional qualifiers.
