Pakistani driver died after debris from an interception struck his vehicle in Dubai.

Dubai authorities have verified that a Pakistani driver was fatally injured when debris from an aerial interception impacted his vehicle in the Al Barsha region.

The Dubai Media Office reported that debris from an intercepted airborne object landed on the vehicle during an air defence operation.

Emergency services promptly arrived at the location; however, the driver, a Pakistani national, succumbed to the hit.

The confirmation occurred as the United Arab Emirates encountered aerial threats on Saturday, with air defence systems actively intercepting incoming missiles and drones.

Officials stated that the debris descended following a successful interception intended to safeguard the nation’s airspace.

Earlier today, UAE air defence systems identified 16 ballistic missiles. Officials reported that 15 missiles were intercepted and destroyed, while one missile landed in the water.
