Pakistani troops arrive to a Saudi airbase as part of a military agreement.

The Defence Ministry of Saudi Arabia claimed that Pakistani troops, including fighter jets and support aircraft, arrived at a Saudi airbase on Saturday as part of a defence pact between the two nations.

The ministry said that the deployment took place at King Abdulaziz Air Base, which was attacked by drones and missiles during the recent confrontation with Iran.

The ministry said the move is meant to improve coordination between the two militaries and make both regional and global security and stability stronger.

The defence treaty, which was signed in September, says that if one country is attacked, both countries will see it as an attack.
