Pakistan’s assistance in meeting with DPM Dar is appreciated by the Iranian embassy.

The Foreign Office spokesperson confirmed on Tuesday that Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri, had a high-level discussion with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad.

During the discussion, the Iranian envoy emphasized the long-standing relationships between the two neighboring countries by expressing gratitude for the people of Pakistan’s strong moral support during a trying time.

The spokesperson stated that all sides recognized the significance of ongoing engagement and cooperation during the talks, which took place against the backdrop of persistent regional tensions.

Ishaq Dar expressed sympathy for the lives lost in the current fighting and called the situation extremely alarming. He emphasized the need to stop further escalation and expressed optimism for an early conclusion.

The foreign minister emphasized Pakistan’s stance that communication and diplomacy are still the only practical means of settling conflicts and guaranteeing enduring peace and stability in the area. He emphasized that in order to reduce tensions and pursue a peaceful resolution, all parties must participate constructively.

As both nations negotiate a complicated regional environment characterized by unpredictability and growing geopolitical concerns, the meeting represents continuous diplomatic efforts between Islamabad and Tehran.
