PCB will host PSL games in Muzaffarabad; a significant renovation is planned for the facility.

The Muzaffarabad cricket stadium in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) will host future Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches, according to an official decision made by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi made the news at the PSL roadshow, which took place at the famous Lord’s Cricket Ground in London.

According to Naqvi, the PCB has started preparing the Muzaffarabad stadium to the greatest standards. He declared, “We are going to develop the Muzaffarabad cricket stadium in the best possible way.” The stadium already has five-star hotels and other amenities that are necessary for international players to have a comfortable stay.

Additionally, the PCB chairman emphasized that the program is not exclusive to PSL matches. Azad Jammu and Kashmir would host more international cricket matches in addition to PSL matches, indicating a larger initiative to introduce elite sport to the area. The precise amount of PSL games that will take place in Muzaffarabad has not yet been revealed.

The PSL, which began with five clubs in 2016, will add two more teams in its upcoming eleventh season. With eight franchises overall, this will be the league’s first significant reorganization in seven years.
