Petrol remains unchanged while diesel prices increase by Rs6 per litre.

For the next 15 days, the federal government has kept the price of petrol the same while raising the price of diesel by Rs6 a litre.

The new price of diesel is Rs284.44 a litre as a result of this increase. The price of gasoline is still $265.45 per litre.
The government announced the new diesel pricing on Saturday, and the new rates will go into effect right away.

In the past, it was anticipated that during the next fortnightly review in November 2025, Pakistani petroleum prices might rise by as much as Rs9.60.

Due to continuous maintenance at a large oil refinery in Kuwait, diesel production in the Gulf region was reduced, which was a major factor in the expected price increase.

As a result of supply concerns following a Ukrainian drone attack on an oil stockpile in the Russian Black Sea port of Novorossiysk, a significant export hub, oil prices rose by roughly 2% on Friday on the global market.

By 0315 GMT, U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude increased $1.25, or 2.13%, to $59.94 a barrel, while Brent crude futures increased $1.24, or 1.97%, to $64.25 a barrel.

Three crew members of the ship were hurt in the early Friday attack in the Russian Black Sea town of Novorossiysk, which also damaged an oil depot, apartment complexes and a ship in port, according to Russian officials.
