PM Shehbaz calls a meeting of the federal cabinet.

The federal cabinet meeting has been called by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who will preside over it today (Friday) at the Prime Minister’s Office. The meeting is reportedly set to begin at the PM Office at 10:00 a.m.

Consultations for a local government system based on the Punjab model would be conducted, according to sources. The federal cabinet will receive a briefing on the new local government system from Chief Commissioner Islamabad.
