PM Shehbaz goes to the mosque in Islamabad where a suicide bomber killed people and gives Rs10 million to the hero’s family.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said how sad he is about the suicide assault at the Tarlai Imambargah last week that killed many people.

During his visit to Imambargah Khadija-tul-Kubra on Wednesday, the prime minister met with the relatives of the martyrs and victims of the incident.

He commended the bravery of young Auon Abbas, who tried to stop the terrorist, stating that the nation would remember his sacrifice in golden words. He further said that the evil plan to divide Muslims had not worked.

He remarked, “Nothing can justify this extreme brutality,” and he added that the whole country is grieving this terrible occurrence. He called the incident a planned attempt to cause trouble and stressed that the sacrifices of the martyrs will not be in vain.

The number of those who died in the Tarlai mosque incident has risen to 35.

The Prime Minister said that Auon Abbas’s family will get Rs10 million for his bravery, while the families of other martyrs would each get Rs5 million.

The IGP of Islamabad told the prime minister about the progress of the investigations into the terrorist attack during the visit. He also met with the families of the victims one-on-one and prayed for the souls of those who had died.
