Police in Rawalpindi are cracking down harder on unauthorized Afghan nationals.

On Tuesday, the Rawalpindi police persisted in their campaign against Afghan nationals who were living in the city illegally.
Police searched a number of locations throughout the course of the last day, and as a result, cases were filed against a number of landlords and renters for neglecting to register their leasing agreements.
More than 57 unlawful Afghan nationals, including men, women, and children, were detained, according to police officials. These people had neither valid visas nor proper papers.
All of the detained people have cases filed under the 14 Foreigners Act, according to the authorities, and more legal action is under progress.
To maintain law and order in the city, the police have also stepped up their crackdown.
