president praises security troops for thwarting an effort to infiltrate the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan

President Zardari praised security personnel for acting quickly to neutralise terrorists near the Pakistan-Afghan border in a statement released from the President’s Mansion.

In order to maintain peace, security, and national defence, the president again underlined the nation’s unity with the security forces.

Also praising the security forces for their swift response in foiling a terrorist attempt to infiltrate across the Pakistan-Afghan border was Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

In defending the country and upholding peace, the minister commended the security forces for their bravery and alertness.

After three terrorists were eliminated as a consequence of the security forces’ prompt action, Mohsin Naqvi thanked them.

“Its terrorists were thwarted by the security forces, who are renowned for their bravery and alertness,” the interior minister continued.

With the brave soldiers of the border guards supporting the security forces in preserving peace and combating terrorism, Mohsin Naqvi conveyed his gratitude for their outstanding efforts.

An attempt at infiltration on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border was successfully prevented earlier on Monday, and three terrorists were eliminated.

In the night of July 21–22, 2024, three terrorists were seen by security forces in Dir District as they attempted to cross into Pakistan. This information was provided by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

After a long gunfight, the three terrorists were eliminated after the infiltrators were effectively engaged and cornered.
