President Zardari requests that the government reduce the price of electricity.
Details reveal that on Independence Day, President Asif Zardari urged the federal government to bring good news to the country by lowering electricity costs.
He claimed that the average person cannot afford the current electricity bills. “There is no way to further increase the burden of electricity bills on the people,” stressed the president.
He urged the public to receive immediate relief by having their electricity costs reduced, and he gave the federal and provincial governments instructions to create a strategy for this relief.
“We require a plan that leads to a decrease in power rates,” President Zardari declared, adding that prompt assistance in the form of relief will provide the populace with much-needed rest.
The people are suffering because of their high electricity costs, Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif stated earlier, and the administration is working to provide them with “good news” shortly.
Speaking at a function held in conjunction with the commemoration of Independence Day, Prime Minister Shehbaz announced that the administration will shortly inform the public of the good news about the national power price reduction.
“We’ll soon unveil a five-year economic plan,” he declared.
