President Zardari signs the CDA Amendment Bill 2025 into law.

On Friday, President Asif Ali Zardari signed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Amendment Bill 2025 into law.

The president signed the law after the prime minister told him to. Article 254 of the Constitution says that this is how it should be done.

The Senate originally adopted the CDA Amendment Bill 2025 on November 7, 2025. The National Assembly then passed it on December 8, 2025, without making any changes. The speaker of the National Assembly said that the bill had passed.

The CDA Amendment Bill 2025 is now an Act of Parliament thanks to the President’s signature.

The CDA’s operations and governance are likely to change a lot because of this new regulation.
