Private schools in Sindh have been instructed to loosen the uniform code.

Due to the severe winter weather, private schools in Sindh have been ordered to loosen the uniform policy and permit students to wear jackets of any colour or style, according to a Friday

The Directorate of Private Institutions has sent a circular to private schools throughout the province directing them to permit students to wear warm clothing of their choice throughout the winter, per Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah’s directives.

Rafia Javed, Additional Director of Private Institutions Sindh, has made it quite clear that kids are free to dress warmly and choose their own jackets for the winter. Students will not be required to wear a particular style of winter uniform by school officials. Schools who disregard this mandate will face consequences.

Children’s health throughout the winter months is a top issue, according to Sindh Education Minister Sardar Shah. It is not permitted to require students to wear particular warm jackets. Any colour or style of warm jacket is acceptable for kids.
