PS-9 Shikarpur’s by-election is scheduled for today.

Election materials have been delivered, and the Sindh PS-9 Shikarpur by-election is scheduled for this Sunday.
277,792 registered voters, comprising 148,310 male and 129,482 female voters, will cast ballots in the constituency.
In the constituency, 178 polling places have been established, comprising 80 combined polling places, 49 polling places for men, and 49 polling places for women. As a result, 84 polling places have been deemed sensitive and 54 highly sensitive.
Maulana Rushdullah Shah of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan and Agha Shahbaz Khan Durrani of the Pakistan Peoples Party are among the eight contenders.
Following the passing of Agha Siraj Durrani, a PPP member of the Provincial Assembly, this seat became vacant.
Ijaz Anwar Chohan, the Sindh Election Commissioner, has directed the pertinent organizations to make every effort to hold the by-elections in a free, fair, and peaceful manner.
