PTA problems NOC permitting PTCL to move forward with the purchase of Telenor Pakistan

The PTA said in a statement on Saturday that it had looked at the proposed deal in terms of consumer protection, market competitiveness, and its overall effect on the telecom industry. The authority further stated that in order to guarantee complete adherence to laws and regulations, consultations were conducted with pertinent government agencies.

PTCL can proceed with the next legal and commercial phases of the purchase procedure after the NOC is issued.
