PTI is a cult, not a political party: Khawaja Asif

Khawaja Asif, the federal minister of defense, declared on Friday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is a cult with no political ideology. According to him, there are currently six groupings within the PTI.

According to Khawaja Asif, all party leaders have experienced and will continue to experience abuse, with the exception of the PTI founder. He claimed that workers, leaders, and even the interests of the nation are sacrificed for the PTI founder’s benefit.

He asserted that the PTI senior leadership and Aleema Khan, the sister of Imran Khan, differ from one another. He claimed that in order to preserve his job, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi declared he would establish “Release Imran Khan Force” as a show of loyalty.

Khawaja Asif added that a number of attorneys are going on camera to increase their market worth because their entire political survival is dependent on and owes to the PTI founder. In order to maintain their businesses [political interests] through such discourse, they all want Imran Khan to stay behind bars.
