PTI leaders confront the SHC about alleged torture by Karachi police.

The Sindh High Court has received a request from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders to register a case against police officers in Karachi for allegedly torturing them while they were in custody.
In the Sindh High Court, PTI leaders Raja Azhar and Faheem Khan submitted a criminal miscellaneous petition.
Both leaders were allegedly kidnapped by police officers from Mehran Town, Korangi, Karachi, on February 8, according to their attorney, Muneeb Khattak Advocate.
In the petition, it is alleged that the applicants suffered from severe torture while in police custody, which is illegal.
They asked the judge to order the filing of a complaint against the involved police officers.
Furthermore, based on the police report, a lower court had previously denied their plea for case registration.
The petition lists SSP Korangi, DSP, DIG East, and other pertinent officers as parties.
The petition should soon be heard by the court.
