Punjab forbids hunting ducks after the season is over.

Punjab’s waterfowl shooting season is officially ended, as hunting is prohibited throughout the province by wildlife authorities.
The limitation has been implemented because the breeding season has begun, according to a Wildlife Department official. Officials had previously said that hunting will be allowed only on Saturdays and Sundays from October 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.
Authorities have now issued a warning that anyone caught hunting ducks after the season ends may face severe consequences.
