Punjab shopkeepers are permitted to remain open after 10 p.m.

In contrast to its previous directive to close stores at 10 p.m., the Punjab government has allowed traders to stay open past 10 p.m. during Ramadan.

The business community requested an exemption from the 10 p.m. shop closing hours during Ramadan, and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz granted it.

Shops were no longer required to close at 10 p.m. A notification was also sent out, and the chief minister formally approved it.

Commissioners and deputy commissioners throughout the province, as well as those in other agencies, have been instructed that during Ramadan, business will continue around the clock.
