QAU students are briefed by the ISPR DG on social media propaganda and national security.

On Wednesday, Lt Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), visited Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad, where he was welcomed by both students and professors.
The ISPR DG spoke extensively about the nation’s internal circumstances, defense issues, and the Pakistan Army’s professional role during a special session. Additionally, he educated the pupils on the distinction between true information and misinformation on social media.
Speaking at the event, the vice chancellor of Quaid-e-Azam University stated that the ISPR DG’s claims against India have already been validated by the world, with Pakistan’s military even surpassing Indian technological capabilities.
The workshop was deemed extremely effective by both teachers and students, who said it had dispelled many of their misunderstandings.
Students also stated that the Pakistan Army originates from among them and that they first and foremost identify as Pakistanis. They also expressed gratitude to the ISPR DG for providing thoughtful responses to their inquiries about disinformation.
