Salaries will be paid by the CDA before Eid Al Fitr 2026.

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has said that its workers will get their pay early before Eid ul-Fitr 2026. This is to help workers with their money before the holiday.

Officials said the decision was made because the prime minister of Pakistan told them to help public sector workers get ready for the holy holiday.

A statement says that the chairman of the CDA has told the finance and accounts offices to speed up the salary process so that payments are made before the Eid holidays.

The authority said that special administrative measures had been taken to make sure that pay transfers did not take too long for anyone, and that these measures would be closely watched to make sure they were followed.

But as part of the government’s austerity drive, the CDA has also stopped giving workers extra benefits. This was done on the interior minister’s orders.

Officials said that the authority is trying to find a mix between supporting employees and being careful with money by cutting costs and making sure that public funds are used effectively.

The statement also said that paying workers on time showed that CDA was trying to support its employees while also following rules for openness, responsibility, and cost-cutting, even though the agency was still having trouble with money.
