Sections of the motorway must be closed due to dense fog.

The nighttime traffic flow on motorways between Thursday and Friday has been severely impacted by fog in several cities in Punjab, Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In many cities, the traffic flow has been severely impacted by the dense fog. Motorway M1 from Peshawar to Rashkai, Motorway M2 from Lahore to Hiran Minar, Motorway M3 from Faizpur to Jaranwala, Motorway M4 from Sheh Shah to Sham Kot, and Motorway M5 from Multan to Zahir Pir and Ghotki to Rohri are all closed to all types of traffic, according to a Motorway spokesperson.

Drivers have been urged by the motorway police to travel on Grand Trunk (GT) Road. Additionally, they have advised vehicles to turn on fog lights and drive more slowly.

Additionally, the Motorway police have asked people to stay at home and refrain from making needless trips. Due to poor visibility, dense fog has also caused traffic jams on the National Highway in a number of locations throughout the province.
