Sindh and the UAE decide to expand trade, investment, and development relations.

According to a statement from Shah’s office, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and UAE Ambassador to Pakistan Salem Mohammed Al Zaabi decided on Tuesday to strengthen bilateral cooperation in commerce, investment, and development. According to the Chief Minister’s Office, Shah met Al Zaabi in the southern port city of Karachi, where UAE Consul General Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Alremeithi also took part. Shah’s spokeswoman stated last month that the Gulf state was interested in a desalination project in Karachi and wants to invest in Sindh’s transportation and construction industries, indicating that Sindh has recently considered cooperation with the UAE. According to Shah’s office, “the chief minister of Sindh and the UAE ambassador held talks on further enhancing cooperation between the Sindh government and the United Arab Emirates.”
It further stated, “Both sides agreed to expand cooperation in the fields of investment, trade, and development.”
Shah informed the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates that there are a lot of large-scale investment prospects in Sindh, and that UAE investors can take full use of these opportunities.
The chief minister stated that the two states may collaborate in the areas of infrastructure, health, and education.
According to the release, “He further stated that encouraging people-to-people contacts and cultural exchanges would further strengthen bilateral relations.”
The United Arab Emirates is Pakistan’s third-largest commercial partner after China and the United States, and the country views it as a crucial regional ally.
