Sindh starts a pre-monsoon immunization program in 2026–2027.

In order to shield livestock from seasonal illnesses before the monsoon season, the Sindh government has started a vaccination drive throughout the entire province.
Muhammad Ali Malkani, the Sindh Minister for Livestock and Fisheries, launched the Pre-Monsoon Vaccination Program 2026–2027 on Monday at the Government Veterinary Hospital in Landhi.
Speaking at the ceremony, the minister stated that the vaccine campaign’s reach has been extended to include the entire province and that it embodies the idea that prevention is preferable than treatment. He said that all of Sindh’s veterinary clinics are ready, with enough vaccine supplies and the required plans currently in place.
Malkani pointed out that Karachi is home to one of the biggest cattle markets in the world and asked livestock owners to make the most of this program in order to protect their animals from illness.
“When the livestock is healthy, it will bring prosperity not only to the owners’ homes but to the entire Sindh,” he emphasized. “The Sindh government is striving for the best results despite limited resources and all available resources are utilized for the economic upliftment of the livestock community and animal health.”
The minister gave the farmers and traders his word that he understood their issues and that a long-term solution including all parties involved will be discovered shortly.
