Sindh will begin offering free bus terminal shuttle service in Karachi.
In response to the traffic congestion in Karachi, the government has chosen to move the intercity bus terminals outside of the city, according to a statement from Sharjeel Memon.
The decision, he added, was made in lieu of the traffic police department’s suggestion.
From different parts of the city to the bus terminals, the government would provide free shuttle service for inhabitants, according to the minister.
The Cantt Station, Sagheer Shaheed Road, M.A. Jinnah Road, and Al-Karam Square will be the shuttle service’s departure points, he stated. “Every 10 minutes, it will run.”
August 14th is when the shuttle service will begin, he said.
According to the transport minister, carriers would save money because big buses wouldn’t enter the city.
“Public-private partnerships will govern the operation of the shuttle service,” he stated.
