Six Pakistani nationals were detained in Saudi Arabia carrying 71 kg of narcotics.

According to the Ministry of Interior, six Pakistani nationals were detained by Saudi police for obtaining 71 kilogrammes of drugs in Saudi Arabia.
Six Pakistani citizens in the Riyadh area were detained by the General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) in cooperation with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority when they were accepting a delivery of 71 kilogrammes of methamphetamine, according to security spokesperson Talal Al-Shalhoub.
More than 200 kilogrammes of drugs were seized in another operation, according to Al-Shalhoub, after two drug smuggling efforts were stopped using information that the GDNC shared with Omani officials.
He reiterated that Saudi Arabia will keep a careful eye on criminal activity that targets youth and national security through drug trafficking, combat it, and make sure those responsible are held accountable.
