Amjad Zubair Tiwana, the chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), declared his intention to retire early.
A letter requesting an early retirement has been sent by the chairman of FBR to the Prime Minister’s Office. There are still six months left in Amjad Zubair Tawana’s term. On August 15th, he submitted an application for early retirement.
The pressure and criticism at work reportedly led the FBR chairman to decide to retire early.
Amjad Zubair Tiwana has requested to resign, and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will decide.
