Faisal Karim Kundi, the governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stated on Thursday that the Constitution gives the federal government the power to impose governor’s rule. According to him, the provincial administration is in charge of imposing governor’s rule in KP.

Speaking to the media upon the opening of Swabi’s Promoli Feeder, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi stated that governor’s rule is impossible if the province and federal governments work together. In the battle against terrorism, he continued, the provincial government must work with the federation.

Officers, security personnel, and civilians are being martyred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to terrorism, according to Faisal Karim Kundi. According to him, the province government ought to support the institutions and behave appropriately.

According to the governor of KP, judicial issues should be settled in court; strikes and road closures for meetings are not solutions. Through communication and understanding, the provincial government should settle disputes with the federal government.
