The court seeks a report regarding Ducky Bhai’s petition for the restitution of accounts and ATM cards.

The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has once more requested an extension from the court to provide its findings concerning YouTuber Ducky Bhai’s petition for the restitution of his social media accounts and ATM cards. The court has instructed the agency to provide the report by 15 December.

Judicial Magistrate Naeem Watto adjudicated the appeal submitted by Ducky Bhai over the custody of his confiscated digital assets. During the proceedings, the NCCIA’s attorney notified the court that the investigating officer was presently in Islamabad and that the case file had not yet been retrieved.

The attorney indicated that Shoaib Riaz has yet to return the investigation file. The judge subsequently inquired of Ducky Bhai’s attorney regarding the operational methods of his client’s YouTube channel. The attorney said, “Sir, the primary account is with the NCCIA.” The account under consideration is solely the editor account.

The attorney for Ducky Bhai contended that, as this pertained to a custody application, all electronic devices, including mobile phones, were already in the possession of NCCIA. Consequently, the four credit cards belonging to his client and the confiscated cash should be restored.

The court granted the NCCIA’s request for an extension, mandating the agency to provide the report by 15 December and then adjourned the case.

The case is part of a continuing investigation in which the NCCIA has already filed a FIR against the suspects.
