The FIA arrests an Afghan national and three others after busting a forgery ring.

An Afghan national and three other suspects were arrested by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Peshawar Zone after they thwarted an attempt to obtain Pakistani citizenship through forged documents.
Younis Khan, Fayyaz Khan, Samiullah, and Sadiqullah are among the people detained, according to FIA officials. Sadiqullah, an Afghan national, was trying to obtain Pakistani citizenship by presenting fictitious documents.
By posing as the Afghan national’s father at NADRA, Younis Khan was instrumental in the forgery, according to an FIA spokesperson. In the meantime, Sadiqullah’s citizenship application was unlawfully validated by Fayyaz Khan and Samiullah, who served as witnesses and certifiers by giving false attestations.
The FIA stressed that the operation was a component of its continuous efforts to stop document fraud and illegal citizenship. Authorities have affirmed that additional inquiries are being conducted and that all of the accused are being prosecuted in line with the law.
