The Governor of Sindh calls for a judicial investigation into the Gul Plaza tragedy.

Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori has called for a judicial inquiry into the Gul Plaza incident and stated his intention to correspond with the Chief Justices of the Supreme Court and the Sindh High Court.

During a news conference at the Governor House on Thursday, Kamran Tessori stated that even a week post-incident, political maneuvering persists. He stated that efforts to deflect responsibility onto others would be futile and that the culpable parties must be discovered and penalized.

He asserted that certain factions are misguiding the Sindh Chief Minister and inquired about the malfunctioning of the apparatus. He inquired why the sons of individuals whose dads were slain in the tragedy were assaulted by the police. He stated that mothers are imploring for justice.

Kamran Tessori also stated that individuals who pay taxes are also losing their life. He cautioned that should anyone attempt to politicize the matter, he will reveal all pertinent information. He charged the government with criminal carelessness and asserted that he would not permit any concealment.

The Sindh Governor stated that he would request Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir to investigate the issue, asserting that Karachi is anticipating his attention and emphasizing the need to identify those responsible for injustices in the area.

He also declared that one parcel of land would be allocated to each family of the deceased.
