The itinerary for this year’s Hajj flights has been confirmed, providing favorable news for prospective pilgrims around Pakistan.
Sources from the Ministry of Religious Affairs indicate that the inaugural Hajj flight from Pakistan is scheduled to depart on April 18.
A total of 468 planes will convey pilgrims to Saudi Arabia as part of the government Hajj program.
On the inaugural day, flights will commence from Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, and Multan. Travelers will receive their individual travel information next week.
According to the official program, 119,000 pilgrims would journey from Pakistan to the sacred locations. Among them, there are 67,230 males and 51,846 women.
Officials announced that four flights will transport pilgrims to Medina on the inaugural day of the program.
Hajj flights to Jeddah will commence on May 4, with the final Hajj flight from Pakistan set to depart on May 21.
The pre-Hajj flight operation will persist for 34 days.
In the initial 15 days, pilgrims will be transported to Medina by 186 aircraft, while 282 flights are allocated for Jeddah.
Flights will commence from eight cities in Pakistan.
Islamabad will accommodate 129 flights, Karachi 124, and Lahore 104.
Quetta will run 18 flights, Multan 34, Sialkot 26, while Faisalabad and Sukkur will have 23 and five flights, respectively.
