The next meeting of the National Assembly is probably scheduled on March 30.

It is anticipated that the National Assembly will convene again on March 30. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to make the final decision in this matter.

Parliamentary sources state that the National Assembly session is set for March 30, 2026, according to the parliamentary calendar. Sending the summary to call the meeting is still being discussed.

Divergent views exist over calling the session amid the austerity campaign. In order to save money, the majority government believes that the National Assembly should only meet when absolutely required.

However, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Speaker of the National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq will consult with each other to reach a final conclusion. The final date and agenda will be made clear following consultations, although no formal announcement has yet been made.

It is important to note that the 25th session of the National Assembly took place earlier this month (from March 3 to March 12) and was adjourned on March 12. The subsequent meeting has not yet been called.
