The ongoing protest by airplane engineers is disrupting PIA flight operations.

Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) flight operations are starting to be greatly impacted by an expanding conflict between the airline’s management and its aircraft engineers.
Numerous flights have been delayed or canceled as a result of the protracted standoff, impacting travelers on a variety of routes.
According to sources, engineers have stopped working, which is delaying the clearance of aircraft. Consequently, flights from Karachi to Lahore, Quetta, and Medina are facing delays, and flights from Karachi to Dubai and Multan have been canceled. Similar to this, there were delays reported for the Islamabad to Skardu flight and a flight from Lahore to Karachi that did not leave on time.
According to PIA engineers, their complaints are based on unmet promises about pay, benefits, and their service arrangement.
However, PIA management has voiced their displeasure, saying that customers are being treated unfairly by the suspension of aircraft operations.
Negotiations between the two sides are still going on, according to sources. However, there are worries that other flight schedule interruptions could happen, causing greater inconvenience to passengers, if the conflict is not settled quickly.
