The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts predominantly dry weather over most regions of the country during the next 24 hours, with cold and partly cloudy conditions anticipated in mountainous areas.

The PMD indicated that remote areas in northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir may experience light rain and thunderstorms, along with light snowfall in elevated mountainous regions.

Daytime temperatures in the plains are anticipated to exceed typical levels.

Partly overcast and dry weather is anticipated in Islamabad and its vicinity, with gusty gusts expected in the afternoon.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, predominantly arid and partially overcast conditions will dominate in most districts, but the northern regions will have comparatively cooler temperatures. Light rain and thunderstorms, accompanied by snowfall in elevated regions, are anticipated in isolated areas of Chitral, Dir, Swat, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Kohistan, and Bajaur.

In Punjab, arid conditions are anticipated over the majority of districts, accompanied by elevated temperatures during the day. Gusty winds may manifest in the plains during the afternoon, but the upper and central areas may see partly overcast conditions. Murree, Galliyat, and surrounding regions are anticipated to see partial cloudiness, accompanied by low temperatures in the morning and evening.

Sindh is anticipated to endure hot and arid conditions across the majority of its districts.In Balochistan, predominantly arid weather is anticipated for most districts, but the northern and western regions may encounter partly cloudy circumstances. Frigid temperatures are anticipated during the morning and evening hours.

Simultaneously, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir may see partly overcast conditions with sporadic light rain and thunderstorms in isolated areas, as well as light snowfall in elevated mountainous regions.
