The price of gold is rising in Pakistan.
ISLAMABAD: Compared to the previous trading day, when it was sold for Rs. 215,500, the price per tola of 24 carat gold jumped by Rs. 800 on Thursday, selling for Rs. 216,300.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the cost of 10 grammes of 24 karat gold grew by Rs. 686 to Rs. 185,442 from Rs. 184,756, while the cost of 10 grammes of 22 carat gold jumped to Rs. 169,989 from Rs. 169,360.
At Rs 2,600 per tola and Rs 2,229.08 per ten grammes, respectively, the price of silver was unchanged.
The price of gold in the international market increased by $5 to $2,060 from $.2,055, the Association reported.
