Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that there will be no further tariffs on solar panels in order to guarantee the public’s access to green solar energy.
During the federal cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister reiterated that the government is actively striving to provide affordable access to renewable solar energy for all citizens in Pakistan.
He asserted that multiple strategies are being devised to propel the economy towards a favorable trajectory, with the nation swiftly advancing towards economic stability. He further emphasized that the endeavors will primarily concentrate on augmenting exports through the growth and enhancement of small and medium-sized companies within the country.
The prime minister also stressed the intention to eliminate the privileges enjoyed by the wealthy and those who exploit the country’s resources. The government’s main focus is on ensuring economic security and promoting equal development for the general population.
The Federal Cabinet has granted approval for the submission of the National Economic Council’s annual report for the fiscal year 2022-23 to be presented in Parliament.
In addition, it approved resolutions from the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) meeting on June 13, the Cabinet Committee on Legislative Cases meeting on June 11, and the Cabinet Committee on Public Owned Enterprises meeting on June 20.
