The Punjab prosecutor general demands that all educational institutions require sex offender verification.

Prior to employment in educational institutions, the Punjabi prosecutor general has issued a letter requiring mandatory verification from the Sex Offenders Register.
In a two-page letter to the secretary of prosecution, Punjab’s prosecutor general, Syed Farhad Ali Shah, emphasized the importance of checking the Sex Offender Record before to employing academics and staff in educational institutions. According to him, NADRA’s Sex Offenders Register is a useful resource for guaranteeing kids’ safety in classrooms.
The letter pointed out a significant flaw in the current hiring process, pointing out that background checks conducted by educational institutions do not turn up prior records of sexual assaults. The institution as a whole may be at risk if sex offenders are hired.
There has been pressure on the Law and Justice Department to establish a system for gaining access to the Sex Offender Register. Additionally, it has been suggested that all public and private educational institutions be required to verify sex offenders.
Both new hires and current employees should be asked to provide verification from NADRA’s Sex Offenders Register.
It claimed that the new regulation would contribute to improved kid safety in educational environments.
