The Sindh government forbids using school property for residential or commercial use.

The government states that the only permitted use of private school buildings is for educational purposes.
It has been determined that opening stores or housing units on school property is a major legal infraction.
All private schools will be inspected by the Sindh education department. Schools operating in hazardous or dilapidated facilities have been ordered to leave the premises, and schools will need to present structural fitness certificates.
The department issued a warning that a school’s registration could be suspended or canceled for any infraction of these guidelines. Schools may also be sealed if they are discovered to be engaged in non-educational activity.
It was also mentioned that the school administration would bear full responsibility for any accidents that occurred on school property.
Strict fire safety regulations were released by the Sindh government for private schools throughout the province on Tuesday.
All private educational institutions have been directed by the Directorate of Inspection and Registration of Private Institutions to guarantee complete adherence to safety and fire prevention regulations.
The directives mandate that school buildings have smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and fire alarms installed. Additionally, schools are required to maintain clean stairwells and emergency exits at all times, as well as to regularly evaluate electrical systems and other high-risk areas.
Additionally, the rules mandate that schools post their fire evacuation procedures in conspicuous places throughout the building.
