The World Maritime Conference commences at the Karachi Expo Centre.

The inauguration ceremony of the Pakistan International Maritime Conference took place at the Karachi Expo Centre on Saturday.

In his address during the ceremony, Vice Admiral Faisal Abbasi stated that the purpose of hosting the international conference is to advance the blue economy and acquaint international investors with Pakistan’s coastal riches.

Vice Admiral Faisal Abbasi stated that 103 international delegations from 44 countries are attending the Pakistan International marine Expo and Conference, indicating increasing worldwide confidence and investment in Pakistan’s marine sector.

At the inaugural Pakistan International Maritime Conference, deals totalling $500 million were executed, with 90 percent concluded, demonstrating the efficacy of this event and the commitment to substantial industrial collaborations.

Over 150 local delegations and 178 exhibitors will participate in the conference, scheduled from November 3 to 6 at the Karachi Expo Centre.
