This year, Pakistan will host the ninth OIC women’s ministerial conference.

This year, Pakistan is getting ready to host the 9th OIC Ministerial Conference on Women, a significant event organized by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
The Foreign Office hosted a high-level meeting to discuss conference preparations. Ishaq Dar, the foreign minister and deputy prime minister, chaired the meeting on behalf of a committee that was in charge of the arrangements.
Ishaq Dar instructed authorities to complete logistics and administrative arrangements, according to a Foreign Office spokesperson. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of excellent communication and close cooperation between the OIC Secretariat and pertinent ministries.
The forthcoming conference, according to the deputy prime minister, will demonstrate Pakistan’s dedication to advancing women’s rights.
Tariq Bajwa, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant, the Federal Minister for Law and Justice, the Foreign Secretary, secretaries of pertinent departments, and senior representatives from relevant ministries were present at the meeting.
